Afro-Gàidheil

In this award-winning documentary directed by Catrìona Lexy Chaimbeul, Cass Ezeji presents Afro-Gàidheil as part of episode 14 of BBC Alba’s Trusadh. She meets fellow Afro-Gaels for the very first time as well as experts who can answer some of her questions, including the historian Dr. David Alston.

Together, the women explore their experiences as a small community within a small community and pay homage to a much-loved Gaelic anthem.
