Writing

Cass has written for Scottish Affairs vol. 30, a Special Edition on Scotland’s Gàidhealtachd futures (Speaking Our Language: Past, Present, and Future, 2021) Map Magazine (Whose Gaelic is it anyway?) and Mother Tongue (An Excerpt from On Family & Other Lost Things, Livy & The Museum of Loveliness).

She is interested in Scottish colonial history and the ramifications of its erasure from our education systems and our national psyche. As a Gaelic speaker, she is eager to broaden the understanding of a Gàidhealtachd and its wider implications.
